Riding hardware upgrade for 2010

The new season came up. The new boards and stuff collection is now available, and since the first of March you can get a minimum of 50% discount at sierra for everything they have.

Burton Custom ICS 2009
Well then currently I’m riding the 2009 Burton Custom ICS 156 with 2009 Cartels EST and I love this board since it is the best riding machine I had for all the time. For jibbing and more park riding I use 2009 Palmer Jade Twin 153 with centered stance and a bit ducked 2009 Burton Mission bindings position.
The board
I’ve decided to go ahead and get the new 2010 Custom ICS with V-Rocker for the next season. The main reason for me is the V-Rocker which makes this board a bit softer, poppy and fun for freestyle all mountain riding. The new design is also gorgeous, but it is not that classic light wordings which was there for last few years. The V-rocker available in 2 design variants: the standard with the black topsheet and the Limited version with the colorful topsheet (like the non v-rocker version).

The bindings
The new custom available only with Channel system and this is good because all EST bindings give you much more comfort and more board control and feeling which finally will give you better riding level. If you would like to use some non-burton bindings with the ICS system then you can read Using non-burton bindings with burton ICS system article to get the idea about most common problems. I plan to get 2010 Cartel EST or 2010 Malavita EST bindings to use them with the new board.

If my Palmer will die this season then I will also get another Jade Twin for jibbing purposes only. I also like this board as it is really soft and very comfortable for switch riding.
