Давно не писал… заработался. Но вот все работы переделаны, все планы осуществлены до нужного уровня, и, можно ехать в каракол и готовить склоны к наплыву братии из казахии. Под подготовкой склонов я имею ввиду отдельные куски парка – трамплинчики и железяки.

karakol snowpark partial setup during this week

At last. A good storm came to our local places and we got a good snowfall in Chui valley and even in Karakol. I think that Too-Ashuu is also got a good portion of this white flakes.
Meanwhile Karakol will get the first portion of metal constructions installed. We also plan to start building some average kickers and some fun elements using pipes.

Karakol will get snowpark for new season

What is a good ski/snowboarding resort? Well first of all it is good routes, lifts, accommodation and services. Karakol mountain resort has all this and I must say that this is the most attractive and good resort in Kyrgyzstan and maybe in CA.
But what sad about any resorts here is that there are no any sort of snow parks anywhere, no rails, pipes and even no kickers. So basically whole riding goes to some back country and fast shots of alcohol each time you go down to the lift.
This mid-season we have contacted Karakol resort managers regarding building first snow park in Kyrgyzstan. And you know what, they liked this idea a lot. And we had a decision to prepare a reasonable snow park plan and then make it live. (continue reading…)
