Stucked in Krasnodar / rus

э. (continue reading…)

Karakol mountain resort will launch 09/10 season on special day – the Friday 13th (November).
If you are still not sure about going there then forget everything and GO as there are more then 50cm of powder now. This is really much for the early season.
The resort works everyday. Lifts are on from 9a.m. till 4p.m. The price is the same as last season and is just 700 soms (about 15 USD).

Oh man! It smells like … SNOW
by Hullabaloo on Nov.05, 2009, under Thoughts and stuff
Yeah! It is snowing! At last I can see it through my window.
5th of November and still no snow in the mountains doesn’t make me too happy. The last season has been started on October 22th and then on November 5-7th we had a crazy freeride days in the 30cm of powder at Kizil-Beles place.
This year seems much warmer: 15-20 C above zero for the whole October and November and the first snow only now. I’m not sure about local ski resorts, but Too-Ashuu will be opened on 15th of November and we will be there for sure!
Current weather forecast makes me glad. It will be snowy for the whole week ahead!
